Dates and Times
The Ball Park will open to the public at 4:30pm. Movie start times may vary, so please see the calendar for more information about movie start times. Ball Park close is after the film completes, or 9:00pm, whichever is earlier.
What to Bring, What Not to Bring
All visitors should bring a comfortable blanket or lawn chair. There will designated seating for blankets closer to the screen, and lawn chairs will be just a little further back so they don’t obstruct the view of our lower seated patrons. If your lawn chair is higher than others and obstructs the view of those around you, you may be asked to sit on the ground or use a blanket.
No coolers, or outside food, or beverage will be allowed in the baseball park.
There is extensive parking available close to the field entryway. Please see the map below for directions on where it may be best to park for the event!
If you’re over 21, you’re in luck! We’ll be selling beer at a designated beer garden area close to the entrance.
Concessions and Food Trucks
The day of the event we’ll have a few food trucks, and will have standard concessions in the main concession building just on the other side of the ball park, closer to the entrance.
The map below shows where the concessions, Beer Garden, and Food Trucks will be. If you’re a food truck and would like to participate, please contact us today!

Weather and Show Cancellation Policies?
It is Nashville after all, and the weather can be a little tricky to predict. We encourage you to follow us on social media, or sign up on the mailing list for notices about any cancellations, or make up dates due to bad weather or otherwise. That said, A movie night can be “rained out” if the local forecast shows that there will be “Severe Weather” during the event time on the day of an event, that calls for folks to “stay in a safe place”. The Picture Show will announce any pre-event cancelations by 12pm on the day of the event. In the occasion that an event is cancelled, people’s tickets purchased in advance to the show can be used for any other show in the series, and there will be an alternate date posted when the movie will be shown again. If there are more than two rain out events in the series, each additional event may be moved to the following Picture Show season.
Unfortunately we will not be allowing dogs to these events.
Where is the field?
If you pull into Shelby park from any direction, at some point you’ll come upon a sign for “Baseball Fields” or “Old Timers” with an arrow. Follow that arrow! if you get to the fields and you’re unsure which is which, just look for the biggest field with the big screen and you’ll find us! The entrance is pointed out in the above map.
